Redeem and Track my Remote Scan Credits


Remote Scan is a powerful feature in Advanced Database Cleaner that runs the analysis on our remote servers for WordPress database items - such as options - and accurately identify which plugin or theme created them which improves the local scan detection. Because this feature has ongoing infrastructure costs, Remote Scan is not included in the old PRO lifetime (LTD) plan.

Remote Scan Credits are designed for existing PRO LTD users who want to perform a Local & remote scan. If you are using a premium subscription that already includes Remote Scan, you typically don’t need separate credits.

How to buy Remote Scan Credits

You can purchase credits directly from the SigmaPlugin site.

  1. Visit the Remote Scan Credits page: https://sigmaplugin.com/remote-scan-credits/.
  2. Sign in with the same account that owns your old PRO LTD license. (You can purchase with another account, but using the same account helps keep your records together.)
  3. Choose the credits package that fits your needs. Each package shows its total number of credits and daily limit. Select the one that matches your needs.
  4. Complete the checkout. After the payment is finalized you’ll see your credits code.

Each credits code expires one year after it is redeemed. You can buy multiple codes; their total credits and daily limits will add up when redeemed on the same license.

Tip: It’s best to purchase while logged into the account that owns your old PRO LTD license, but it’s also possible to buy credits with a different account and redeem them later.

Where to find my credits codes

1. In the purchase receipt page

Immediately after checkout, the Purchase receipt page displays your credit code under License Keys. You can copy this code directly

2. In the purchase confirmation email

You’ll receive an email titled “Purchase Receipt” that includes the credits code. The code appears within the email body and can be copied from there.

3. In your SigmaPlugin account → Orders

At any time you can locate your previous credits purchases:

  1. Go to My account → Orders.
  2. Click View details on the relevant order.
  3. The purchase receipt page for that order shows your credits code again.

How to redeem credits codes

Credits must be redeemed inside the Advanced Database Cleaner plugin using one of the following two options:


Note: Before redeeming a credit code, make sure your PRO plugin license is activated on this website. Credit codes can only be redeemed if the plugin license is active. If your license is not activated yet, please follow this guide How to activate your license


Option 1: Redeem from Settings (recommended)

  1. In WordPress admin, go to Advanced Database Cleaner → Settings → Scroll down to the Remote scan credits panel click Redeem credit code

  1. Enter your code in the field provided and click Redeem.

  1. The plugin will validate the code, redeem it and automatically refresh your balance.

Option 2: Redeem when starting a scan

When you start a scan for the first time (or if there are no credits yet), you can redeem directly from the scan dialog:

  1. Click Start the scan → Choose Local & remote scan (Recommended) → In the Remote Scan notice box, select Use credits and click Redeem credit code.

  1. Enter your code and follow the prompts.

  1. When redemption succeeds, your balance will refresh automatically.

Once a license has redeemed credits, the plugin remembers the balance. The Redeem button disappears, and the scan dialog uses your credits automatically.

Sync / refresh your balance

If you have redeemed credits for a PRO license on another site, you may need to refresh the balance on a new installation. To do this:

  • From Settings: Go to the Remote scan credits panel and click Refresh info.

  • From the scan dialog: When choosing Use credits, click Refresh info.

This synchronizes your license’s current total and daily balance, ensuring the plugin uses your previously redeemed credits.

How to track my Remote Scan Credits

You can see how many credits you’ve used, how many remain, and when your daily limit resets:

Inside the plugin

The Remote scan credits panel in Settings shows:

  • Total credits used: used / total (with remaining credits).
  • Credits used today: used / daily limit.
  • Daily limit reset: countdown timer.
  • Last info refresh: time of the last sync.

In your SigmaPlugin account

The Scan Credits page lists all codes and license balances. You can see which codes have been redeemed, their expiration dates, daily limits, and which license they’re associated with. This is useful when managing credits across multiple sites.

Keep these rules in mind when using Remote Scan Credits:

  • Expiration: every credits code expires one year after purchase.
  • Daily limits: each package includes a daily limit on remote scans. Choose a package based on how many remote scans you expect to run each day.
  • Stacking: if a license redeems multiple codes, the total credits and daily limits add together. This lets you increase your overall balance and raise your daily scanning capacity by redeeming additional codes.

Tip: When a credits code is purchased under one SigmaPlugin account but redeemed with a PRO license belonging to another account, the purchasing account will show that code under Redeemed by third party. This simply records that the code was redeemed on a different account.
