Activate/deactivate a license

After installing the Premium version of Advanced Database Cleaner, you can activate or deactivate your license directly from the plugin interface.

How to Activate Your License

After installing the Premium plugin, go to the plugin’s main page, then:

  1. Click on the Settings tab.
  2. In the License section, enter your license key in the text field.
  3. Click the Activate license button.


What Happens After Activation

Once your license is activated:

  • The plugin will verify your license with the licensing server
  • The license field will automatically hide the full key and display a masked version

    The interface will show important information about your license, including:

    • License status: Active
    • Expiration date
    • Your plan, e.g. Business plan, Agency plan
    • A message explaining your activation limits
    • A Deactivate license button
    • A Refresh info button
    • A My account link


How to Deactivate Your License

You may need to deactivate your license when:

  • Moving the plugin to a new website
  • Migrating your site
  • Releasing a license slot

To deactivate:

  1. Go to the Settings tab of the plugin.
  2. In the License section, click the Deactivate license button.
  3. The plugin will unregister the license from this installation.

Once deactivated:

  • The license field becomes empty again
  • The activation button will reappear
  • The plugin will no longer receive premium updates until reactivated

You can now reuse your license on another site (depending on your plan limits).
